Knicks, Thibodeau is pleased with the bench’s performance

The Knick bench dominated Cleveland in Game 1 but struggled in Game 2. They bounced back big on Friday night, outscoring the Cavs reserves by a 39-14 tally.

“I thought we got really good minutes from Immanuel Quickley. I thought we got good minutes from Isaiah Hartensteinand also really good minutes from Obi Toppin. And Josh Hart was amazing,” Thibodeau said.

“You can’t say enough about what he brings to all aspects of the game, from offense, to defense, to rebounding, to fast-paced plays, to long shots, to game-winning plays, to fair play. So, I’m very satisfied with what we got from our bench.”

Hart had 13 points and six rebounds. He shot down both of his three-point attempts. Quickley had 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting. New York outscored Cleveland by 27 points in its 23 minutes.
