The Knicks are still being linked to Zion Williamson

An NBA writer believes New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson will be one of the next stars to be traded. Bleacher Report’s Greg Swartz believes the New York Knicks, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Miami Heat are teams to keep an eye on as possible landing spots for Williamson.

“If Williamson doesn’t appear in at least 50 games this year – he played more than 29 games in just one of his first four seasons – New Orleans may have no choice but to explore the trade market, trying to salvage what it has his value remains and he adds to a young, talented core,” Swartz wrote in his NBA trade column. “Some teams will discuss Williamson’s potential, especially those that aren’t facing the same kind of immediate-win pressure as the Pelicans.

“Everyone should hope that Williamson can have a healthy season and regain his dominant form. However, this remains unlikely until proven otherwise. Expect New Orleans to give the Williamson experiment another year, with a trade possibly coming next summer.”
