Suns, three players out against Knicks

The Suns are preparing to face the Knicks also on the strength of home successes: they have won seven games out of eight.

They’ll try to get their eighth win against the Knicks, but they’ll have to do it without Chris Paul. The veteran has heel issues and the Suns said he will be evaluated in the coming days. He will probably be forced to miss another 2-3 games, if not more.

In his place, Cameron Payne is expected to continue to serve as the starting point guard.

Another Suns player who won’t be available against the Knicks is Landry Shamet who will miss his fifth straight game with concussion symptoms Sunday. Shamet’s next opportunity to play will be against the Lakers on Tuesday.

Cam Johnson will also be out against the Knicks with knee problems.
