Mike Miller leads the team during the shutdown for coronavirus

The New York Knicks season isn’t over. In a video posted on the Knicks’ social media accounts, Miller said his coaching staff connected to their players to keep them active. Miller also scoured his team’s performance. The NBA suspended its season indefinitely on March 11th.

“We tried to maintain a routine where we do certain things,” said Miller. “Certainly exercise is part of it every day. Having the chance to touch the base with our players, we actually got involved. Our staff is in communication every day between all our coaches and our staff.

“We did a good job of making sure our players listened to us almost daily during the week – from the training staff, from the performance and from the medical staff. They have been very well connected with us making sure everyone is safe”.
