Knicks guard Frank Ntilikina confirmed on Wednesday that the team had not discussed a contract extension with him before Sunday’s deadline and reacted to his uncertain future.
SNY’s Ian Begley reported Tuesday that the Knicks have not discussed any possible contract extension with Ntilikina.
“It is what it is,” Ntilikina told reporters Wednesday via Zoom. “I am more focused on the game and the season. This is the main goal: to improve every day and to try to achieve our goals.”
Ntilikina will become a limited free agent next summer when the Knicks will have the opportunity to match any offer they receive from another team.
