Derrick Rose reacted to The Knicks Craft which sent him back from Detroit to Garden on Monday, saying he is ready for the “second chance” he was given.
Rose wrote a long Instagram post here, where he explains why he has it in his blood to make the most of this opportunity to play under the bright MSG lights by wearing blue and orange again.
“Other hoopers always told me that if I ever got a chance to play in MECCA go for it. I have a second chance,” wrote Rose. “… I have to enforce this. But I’m built for this.”
The Pistons handed out Rose to the Knicks in exchange for Dennis Smith Jr. and a 2021 round two pick (via Charlotte).
