After NBA insider Brian Windhorst mentioned the possibility of Giannis Antetokounmpo joining the New York Knicks, “ESPN superfan and commentator Stephen A. Smith couldn’t hide his grin.
Windorst reported Friday that while the Knicks are heavily focused on the NBA playoff showdown with the Miami Heat, they are at least “3 percent” keeping tabs on the Bucks following the firing of Mile Budenholzer. With many changes coming to Milwaukee and Antetokounmpo extension talks on the way, Windhorst has raised some questions about the two-time MVP’s future.
As for Stephen A. Smith being the Knicks fan that he is, he has expressed his belief that it is highly possible that Giannis Antetokounmpo is moving to New York.
“ If it’s not LA, it’s New York. I’m by no means ruling out the possibility that Giannis might want to come to New York,” said Stephen A. Smith.
