Knicks’ Hart: ‘Robinson was key to our success’

While many will point to Jalen Brunson‘s leadership, Barrett‘s resurgence, or Josh Hart’s tenacity as the x-factor as the Knicks advance to the second round for the first time since 2013, it’s Robinson‘s ability to be the overwhelming presence down below that apparently tipped the scales in favor of New York.

“Mitch did a great job,” Hart said. “He dominated on both sides of the board, especially on the offensive side. Giving us a second chance. In this series he proved to be the best big man in the league. He will anchor this defense and I can’t wait to see him continue”.

Robinson finished with 18 rebounds 11 offensive to go along with 13 points, two steals, three blocks and an assist in Wednesday’s win. It was the second consecutive game of the seven-footer with double-digit rebounds.
