Frank Ntilikina: “I’m happy to be a Knick”

In his third season with the Knicks, Ntilikina averaged 6.3 points (career high), 3.0 assists and 2.1 rebounds per game in 57 appearances (26 starts). He also got his career best 39.3 percent from the field and 32.1 percent from three – although both aren’t the best scores around, they show improvement in the young guard’s game, and he has noticed.

“The end of last season really motivated me a lot. I’ve seen improvements and it’s really motivating. … It gives me energy for the future,” said Ntilikina.

Speaking of the guard’s future, Knicks fans were shocked when Ntilikina took “Knicks” off his social media bio and assumed he’d been swapped.

“I’ve heard of it. It’s been a while, a long time. It’s nothing new. I don’t know. I’m here. I’m happy to be a Knick,” Ntilikina said. “I work every day to represent this team the best I can. And I’m really happy to be here.”
