Knicks, Thibodeau has ‘almost clear’ ideas about the 10-player rotation

Tom Thibodeau has “a pretty good idea” of which players will be in the Knicks’ 10-man rotation to start the season.

But at least one starting point was still under discussion by Thibodeau and his staff on Tuesday.

“We actually meet every day on the rotation and it’s pretty tight,” Thibodeau said Tuesday. “It will resolve itself as we move forward. But you have to base it on performance and merit, on what the guys have done (during the retreat and preseason). We have a pretty clear idea of who the 10 are (players in the Knicks rotation), and then the question will become who we start. There are a couple of positions which are basically 50-50 types of positions. So we’re still evaluating it. “
