Immanuel Quickley started the Knicks’ last two preseason games at point guard and played well. Eflrid Payton is the owner of the club. It will be interesting to see if Thibodeau and his staff go with Quickley, a rookie, to start Wednesday on guard against Indiana.
The Knicks kicked off Alec Burks and Reggie Bullock during the preseason. Nerlens Noel and Mitchell Robinson also started in the center.
Based on how the preseason went, it seems likely that Burks or Bullock will start alongside RJ Barrett and Julius Randle. If the coaching staff are still arguing over two starting points, it is fair to assume that there is still no consensus on either Robinson or Noel starting in the middle and around the starting point guard.
