According to one report, the Knicks have shown interest in Embiid since the middle of the 2022-23 season. And after the Sixers’ playoff disaster, beliefs have intensified that New York might review the trading talk for the long haul.
While it’s definitely exciting to see a potential Jalen Brunson–Joel Embiid duo in the Big Apple, fans shouldn’t get their hopes up. Apparently, there really isn’t much to the Embiid-to-Knicks rumor, with NBA insider Marc Stein noting that it’s all media talk at the moment.
