Current Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson recently spoke with Joe Vardon of The Athletic, addressing rumors about a trade with Donovan Mitchell. Brunson not only acknowledged his friendship with Donovan Mitchell but also expressed confidence in his current teammates.
“It’s impossible not to see things — the rumors and all the things that come on Twitter and all those things every single day are always on TV. There are always possibilities when you hear about that stuff. Donovan has been a close friend of mine for a while. We were in the same class in high school, our relationship goes back a long way. Right now, I’m more than happy with my boys and love my teammates.”
