A familiar name on the roster was DaQuan Jeffries, who appeared in form last summer and throughout the G-League season and was expected to be a big part of this year’s squad. He had an impressive 20 points in their first game of the Summer League but was pulled from the rest of the program.
Chances are the Knicks have simply seen enough and want him ready for the field. Jeffries appears to be a legitimate 3 and D contributor with an edge and has a real shot at seeing some minutes this year.
