Knicks, Austin Rivers: “We’re improving, trusts us”

Just a couple of hours after the Knicks had one of their worst shooting performances of all time, Austin Rivers seemed not to be worried.

Rivers shared a few words of encouragement in a comment on the team’s latest Instagram post of 2020:

“I don’t usually comment on those kinds of things. But it’s a process. Trust us. We’re improving,” Rivers said.

Rivers praised Om Thibodeau in his commentary and said the Knicks “need” fans.

“We have a great new coach, all the new players, very young, who are learning to play with each other and have the right chemistry, and we are still getting healthy,” he said. “It’s a process, but I promise we’ll get there step by step.

“Be there for us. We need all of you. You too are all part of our success and growth. The Knicks will be [fire emoji] again. But our process begins now.”
