There was a chance Quickley would return Thursday after missing three games since he suffered a hip pointer in his NBA debut in the season opener in Indiana on December 23.
“He’s getting closer every day, and every day he’s made a little more, more contacts, that sort of thing, but he’s not quite there,” coach Tom Thibodeau said before the game. “We felt we could wait another day or two and see. … When he’s ready to go, he’s ready to go”.
