Julius Randle, Quentin Grimes questionable for Game 1 vs. Heat

The Knicks announced on Saturday that Julius Randle and Quentin Grimes are both questionable for Sunday afternoon’s Game 1 against the Miami Heat.

Randle left Game 5 against the Cleveland Cavaliers with two minutes left in the second half after rolling the same left ankle that kept him out of the final five games of the regular season.

Randle was unable to do much in Friday’s training session, but coach Tom Thibodeau later said he was confident the striker was ready for Game 1.

Grimes, on the other hand, was able to practice fully. After missing the last two matches of the first leg with a contusion to his right shoulder, he hopes to be back on Sunday.
