New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson not only shines on the court but also off the court.
After leading the Knicks to their best season in a decade, culminating in a second-round playoff appearance, Brunson’s leadership and selflessness spilled out of the NBA.
Brunson will receive this year’s Beacon of Hope award from Covenant House, the largest charity in the Americas that helps homeless and trafficked youth.
“Jalen and his entire family have been tremendous supporters of Covenant House, providing holiday gifts, year-round support, and funds that we have used for career training and educational support for our youth,” said the president and Covenant House CEO Bill Bedrossian in a statement sent to Heavy Sports.
