The Knicks have their eye on Donte DiVincenzo who could be valuable on Thibodeau’s roster.
DiVincenzo averaged 9.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game last season with the Warriors. He put up those numbers in just 26 minutes a game. He has also hit 39.7 percent of his three-point attempts in recent years, trailing only Steph Curry and Klay Thompson in that category.
If he can replay that shootout, DiVincenzo would help the Knicks distance the floor. DiVincenzo, Jalen Brunson’s college teammate, is also a strong clipper on offense.
On the other side of the ball, DiVincenzo is seen as a strong team defender who is skilled with the ball, navigating the screens, and defending the passing lanes. The 6-4 guard is also an exceptionally strong rebounder for his position.
