Celtics, Tristan Thompson available against the Knicks

The Celtics will finally bring Tristan Thompson back in the lineup Wednesday night against the New York Knicks. The big man from Boston has been out for the past three weeks as he was recovering from COVID-19.

The Celtics could have used Thompson in Tuesday night’s defeat to Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers.

Thompson’s return should ease some of the responsibilities given to Williams. It will be interesting to see how much Brad Stevens plays Thompson against New York, since he hasn’t played in a game since March 14.
