An NBA writer proposes that the Los Angeles Clippers trade two-time Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard to the New York Knicks.
Leonard is one of the best players in the NBA. However, he hasn’t been able to stay healthy in recent seasons. The two-time Defensive Player of the Year, who sat out all of last season recovering from anterior cruciate ligament surgery, hasn’t played in more than 74 games since the 2016-17 season when he was with the San Antonio Spurs.
Just Leonard’s physical condition is a question mark for the Knicks. Leonard is a bet for the Knicks and if he still has knee problems it would be a failure.
