Knicks, Thibodeau’s first task: assembling a coaching staff

After the Knicks hired Thibodeau, it remains to be seen who exactly compiles Thibodeau’s staff, but he almost certainly has some people in mind.

The Knicks front office can also have words in who is chosen.

Former Knicks coach Mike Woodson, who this time interviewed for the job, is a candidate to be on Thibodeau’s bench. And Mike Miller, the Knicks’ interim head coach after David Fizdale was fired, also deserves a place on the staff if he wants to.

Miller also has many fans in the organization who would like him to return somehow.

It is possible that Thibodeau has approached some of his former assistants from his years as a coach of the Bulls and Timberwolves to fill his new staff, but who exactly he calls is unknown at this point.

It is more than likely, however, that the affected buses will not be missing.
