Obi Toppin has moved to the Pacers. The New York native didn’t hide his disappointment with how he was handled by Tom Thibodeau:
“All I can do is do whatever the coach asks me to do,” Obi Toppin said when asked if either side could have done anything to make it work in New York, via New York’s Stefan Bondy Daily News. “Whether it’s being on the pitch, having great energy, doing whatever it takes to help the team win. I didn’t get the minutes I wanted. But now it’s a new beginning. I’m here in Indy. I have to work for everything I want. And I’m super excited to get started.”
