Thibs fired but Brunson defends his coach

After an excellent first half, the Knicks literally collapsed and were overwhelmed by boos from the fans. Tom Thibodeau is in the crosshairs, many are asking for his dismissal.

Jalen Brunson, one of the most anticipated players of today, however, defended his coach:

“Thibodeau has done a great job. And he’s been able to put us in the positions where we need to be successful, and he knows where to put those pieces of the puzzle. It’s just up to us to execute and actually do things. So I know he’s going to have a lot of blame, but it’s our fault. I mean, we’re there, us players out there fighting.”
