Tom Thibodeau, along with assistant coach Kenny Payne, transformed the culture of this Knicks organization, through the guidance of new front office members Leon Rose and World Wide Wes.
The team players more than took notice of the new culture, they agreed – Thibodeau held a “blackout day” for the players on Thursday, which means no training or training, just rest, but more guys were still trying to figure out how enter the gym.
“I love our group. They are all serious, hardworking, dedicated. You couldn’t ask for more as a manager,” Thibodeau said during filming on Friday as the Knicks look to extend their winning streak to nine on Saturday.
