The Knicks will trade Evan Fournier but there is no hurry

The Knicks have always moved ahead of the transfer deadline. Unrestricted trading is now possible, so significant activity from New York is to be expected.

Among the players who will be exchanged there is certainly Evan Fournier. The Frenchman hasn’t seen the field for three weeks and is out of coach Tom Thibodeau’s plans. The Knicks aren’t desperate to get rid of him, which is why they don’t intend to attack a first draft pick to sell him, but they want to use the 18.9 million this season and 18.9 million next to see if they can get an asset back along with a less desirable contract than that of the French.
