The Knicks-Spurs trade sends Reggie Bullock to New York

An NBA writer proposes that the New York Knicks acquire Reggie Bullock from the San Antonio Spurs in a blockbuster trade.

Bleacher Report’s Grant Hughes proposed that the Knicks trade Evan Fournier and two second-round picks in 2024 to the Spurs for Bullock.

“The Knicks would get an even better shooter in Bullock (38.4% on treys for his career) with only one season left on his contract,” Hughes wrote. “It’s also easier to imagine Coach Tom Thibodeau using Bullock in the rotation due to his superior perimeter defense. Fournier’s frailty at that end of the pitch landed him on the bench in 2022-23.”

The Spurs are interested in acquiring Fournier from the Knicks and Bullock was playing in New York. This trade could make sense for both the Spurs and the Knicks.
