“The Knicks must decrease the use of RJ Barrett”

Zach Buckley of Bleacher Report just ran a feature on some of the big changes the Knicks “need to make to compete for an NBA championship” during this year’s postseason run. And the first item on his list was the easing of Barrett’s use, despite the player’s former No. 3 status.

“Up until last summer, you could have argued that he was their most important player,” Buckley wrote. “Things change quickly in this championship, though. He has already been surpassed in the pecking order by Julius Randle and Jalen Brunson, but New York should think about lowering Barrett even further.”
