According to NBA insider Ian Begley of SNY, the New York Knicks are interested in trading for Washington Wizards big man Daniel Gafford.
The Wizards are interested in acquiring Quentin Grimes from the Knicks, so it’s possible the two teams could make a trade.
“Washington’s interest in Grimes is noteworthy for several reasons,” Begley wrote. “One of them? The Knicks have Wizards big man Daniel Gafford on their radar, sources confirm.
The Knicks have already made a big trade this season, sending RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley to the Toronto Raptors for OG Anunoby, Malachi Flynn, and Precious Achiuwa. It will be interesting to see if Leon Rose decides to make another move.
