Jordan Clarkson has long been a name to keep an eye on for contending teams. He has been an important piece of the Utah Jazz and will continue to find success with the next team he plays for thanks to his scoring ability.
Marc Stein reported on his Substack that the Knicks have an interest in Clarkson, confirming Jones’ report.
“The Knicks are said to have some interest in Utah’s Jordan Clarkson and a trio of guards they have previously been linked to: Portland’s Malcolm Brogdon, Charlotte’s Terry Rozier and Detroit’s Alec Burks (a recent Knicks alumnus) .”
During the season, he averages 18.1 points per game and plays more than 30 minutes a night. He’s struggled a bit from three, shooting just 31.2%, but he can score in multiple ways. Clarkson gives the New York Knicks some flexibility on the bench and could be the perfect replacement for Quickley.
