When the New York Knicks make their first pick in the 2020 NBA draft, one name to watch is Auburn forward Isaac Okoro.
Speaking to SNY.tv’s Ian Begley, Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl said the Knicks were “very curious” about Okoro and liked “the jump”.
“They talked to strength coaches, coaches, assistant coaches – they did their homework,” added Pearl.
Okoro was the crown jewel of Auburn’s 2019 recruiting class who helped the team pass 25-6 during the regular season. He was named to the All-SEC second team as a freshman after averaging 12.9 points and 4.4 rebounds per game.
