Pascal Siakam’s name has surfaced in business negotiations for several offseasons. The former NBA champion is the face of the Toronto Raptors franchise following the departure of teammate Fred Vanfleet to the Houston Rockets.
Siakam had a banner season in 2022, averaging 24 points and 5.8 assists while leading the league in minutes per game. The Raptors are unable to contend for a championship, forcing teams in the NBA to keep tabs on Siakam.
The Magic, Pacers and Hawks are all reportedly watching Siakam as they attempt to build formidable defenses to slow down some of the Eastern Conference powerhouses.
Connecting Siakam to the Knicks’ defensive-minded culture by playing alongside “The Sergeant,” Julius Randle, and under the tutelage of head coach Tom Thibodeau could be the move that takes New York to the top of the Eastern Conference.
