NBA is expected to ratify Thursday’s vote restart plan

The NBA has taken another step towards the resumption of the suspended season. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the league’s board of directors will vote on Thursday and should approve the format recommended by Commissioner Adam Silver to end the campaign at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

The league suspended its season on March 11 after Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19. It has been suspended since the disease has become a pandemic that has caused over 5.7 million confirmed cases worldwide, according to the World Health Organization.

But all signs indicate that the NBA will eventually resume its season at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando.
