NBA Draft 2020: the dates have been decided

The NBA’s prospects now have a date that they can stick to their dreams, but that will require waiting almost four more months for that memorable evening.

The NBA 2020 Draft will take place on October 16, according to several reports, four months after it was initially scheduled.

The deadline for early enrollments will be August 17th, although the date on which college players will withdraw from the draft is August 3rd. It would have been 10 days after the NBA Combine, which is not expected to happen because of the coronavirus. International and non-university players have until 6 October to withdraw from the project.

The draft lottery will be held on August 25th and the free agency will start on October 18th. The moratorium period on the negotiations will take place from 19 to 23 October, according to ESPN, less than a week after the last NBA Finals game played on 13 October.
