The Lakers started to make roster moves by waiving Mo Bamba, Shaquille Harrison and declining player option on Malik Beasley.
With the free agency set to open later tonight, Los Angeles is expected to pursue several players. Among them are long-time Lakers’ target Cam Reddish and Yuta Watanabe, per Jovan Buha.
Reddish is a restricted free agent after completing the season with the Trail Blazers following the trade from the Knicks. He averaged 11 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 27.6 minutes over 20 games for Portland.
Watanabe became an unrestricted free agent after his contract with the Nets expired. This past season the Japanese small forward averaged 5.6 points, 2.4 rebounds in 16 minutes per game for Brooklyn.
