Knicks, Theo Pinson signed a two-way contract

Former North Carolina Theo Pinson is signing a two-way deal with the New York Knicks, according to ESPN’s Bobby Marks. The team released him on Friday along with former Tar Heel Wayne Ellington.

Over the past two seasons, the NC native Theo Pinson has bounced between the G-League and NBA as a two-way player for the Brooklyn Nets. Pinson played in 51 NBA games over two seasons and averaged 3.9 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists in those games.
