Knicks scouted Cole Anthony extensively before the NBA 2020 Draft

If the NBA cancels the rest of the regular season and resumes with a 16-team playoff format, the Knicks will end up with the sixth worst record in the NBA.

This would give New York City a nine percent chance of landing choice no. 1 is a 36 percent chance of getting a top four pick in the NBA 2020 Draft.

Obviously, the Knicks could also go back to the lottery. If they end up with the sixth worst record, New York could return to ninth place.

According with SNY.tv, a principal guard that the Knicks have explored extensively, according to an NCAA source, is Cole Anthony of North Carolina.

“New York did homework on Cole,” said the NCAA source.

Anthony, son of ex-Knick guard Greg Anthony, averaged 18.5 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game in North Carolina last season.
