Knicks, reduced role for Quentin Grimes who makes important statements

Quentin Grimes has proven to be a true asset for the New York Knicks in 2022-23 and as a result, has earned a consistent starting spot within the rotation and is producing at career rates virtually across the board.

However, since the club traded for Portland Trail Blazers’ Josh Hart on Feb. 8, the 22-year-old has seen his role in the rotation be negatively impacted, with reduced playing time.

Although he is used less by Thibodeau, Grimes does not lose his optimism: “It’s not about minutes. He’s trying to win games. It helps us win games, that’s the main thing,” tweeted the New York Post’s Zach Braziller.
