Extreme and different feelings in the Knicks. New York is going through a good moment of form and the victory against the Nets brought even more enthusiasm. Jalen Brunson is traveling with All-Star numbers, Josh Hart instead had an impact as a leader, he brought even more vigor to the team, immediately conquering the Knicks fans.
In the midst of so many positive aspects, however, there is also something negative. The player most in pain right now is RJ Barrett. Two very difficult weeks for Barrett culminated in a bad performance against the Nets: four points, one rebound, and zero assists in over 24 minutes of action. There is no doubt that for Barrett, the one against the Nets, was the worst performance of the whole season.
With Hart’s addition and his great impact, RJ Barrett risks finding even less playing time and this would be a serious detriment for the Knicks who have fully bet on him for the future of New York.
