Knicks, Randle: “We are having fun and enjoying every moment”

Julius Randle has really been doing something special all season.

Randle, who was nominated for his first All-Star game earlier this season, is now the favorite to win the NBA’s Most Improved Player award, is making strides to be named to an All-NBA team. and has had his name thrown in even the MVP talks in the past couple of weeks.

He averages 23.9 points with 46% of shots (a stellar 41% out of three), 10.5 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game.

The Knicks are not only winning games, they are currently sitting at number 4 in the Eastern Conference, a place where no one but them would have seen them before the season started.

Speaking on ESPN’s “The Woj Pod” with Adrian Wojnarowski, Randle said it’s a great time to be a Knick, and that even with the smallest capacity limit at Madison Square Garden, he still looks special.

“It’s a lot of fun man, I’m not going to lie, it’s a lot of fun,” Randle said.

“The Garden is one of the places you can’t wait to play, luckily for me I do it every day. But it’s limited in regards to fans and all, but we definitely don’t feel a lack of energy overnight. Just playing in the Garden, just playing the period for the Knicks, there is definitely a buzz and energy around this town and around our team, and we are having fun and enjoying every moment”.
