Knicks, Randle: “It was definitely a great time, a lot of emotion for me and my family”

Knicks fans returning to Madison Square Garden certainly cheered for Randle, who was called to his first career All-Star game just about an hour before the tip, during the game. The chants of “MVP” rained down on Randle even before the game, when he addressed the audience for the first time this season.

“It was really special, it was surreal in a way,” Randle said of those MVP chants. “Everything you could dream of, and it all came true. It was great, honestly, and everything I signed up for and the goals I wrote down when I decided I wanted to come here and play for the Knicks. It’s all happening. .
