Obi Toppin, the Knicks forward, has been cleared to play in Wednesday’s game against the Nets, though it is not yet clear if he will get minutes.
“I’m not really sure how much I’ll be playing today,” Toppin said in a Zoom call. “I have just been cleared to play this morning. I will be ready whenever the coach calls my name”.
“I’m super excited to be back,” Toppin said. “I’m a bit rusty. But I’ll be ready when the coach calls my name. It wasn’t difficult at all. In college, I sat out a full year. He helped me a lot. I had the opportunity to understand at what pace I need to play and what things I need to work on and know what I need to do to help the team win. I learned all this throughout the process”.
