We don’t know if it will be an ups and downs season again for the Knicks, but this start certainly is. The defeat against the Thunder has thrown everyone into turmoil, the results are disappointing, a much better start to the season was expected.
Who risks paying for everyone is Tom Thibodeau of whom there is more and more talk of his possible dismissal.
“I think Tom Thibodeau’s seat is hot. I think, just my guess, if you get a few more games like this where the Knicks don’t compete enough on the defensive end and they seem to have let the string go for too long stretches of the game on this West coast road trip here, I would expect that there’s a significant change, whether it’s Tom Thibodeau or something else,” said NBA insider Ian Begley.
