Knicks, Jalen Brunson comes in defense of Julius Randle

Two-time New York Knicks All-Star forward Julius Randle had a rough day of shooting in Game 4 that ended with a bench in the fourth quarter.

Jalen Brunson, who continues to thrive in the playoffs, came to Randle’s defense: “Julius has been a leader since the day I got here,” Brunson told reporters after the game. “What he’s able to do whether he’s on the track or not has been incredible. It was special. All he wants to do is win, and when he has that mentality, he’s very contagious. So he was a leader and we always had his back. He wants nothing more than to win.”
