The New York Knicks have been asked to trade for New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson by an NBA writer.
Bleacher Report’s Zach Buckley thinks this is the perfect offseason for the Knicks to acquire Williamson, who may be available in a trade.
“Knicks fans, feel free to dream of Zion Williamson again,” Buckley wrote.
“The New Orleans Pelicans are reportedly mulling the transfer of the oft-injured long man to snag a top-three pick and a chance to select G League Ignite guard Scoot Henderson,” according to NBA insider Marc Stein. The Knicks They obviously don’t have a top three pick to dangle, so how could they enter Williamson’s lottery?Potentially connecting the dots in a three-team trade.Maybe the teams with the top three picks don’t want all the health risks involved to the 22 year old.
