Knicks, fractured hand for Mitchell Robinson

The New York Knicks have been getting off to a good start for years, and Mitchell Robinson is at both the literal and figurative center of that success. The big man of the third year is New York’s # 5 defense anchor and his athleticism has turned him into one of the NBA’s top lob threats. Unfortunately, it seems Robinson has to waste some time.

After Friday’s victory over the Washington Wizards, the Knicks announced that Robinson suffered a fracture in his right hand. Saturday will be re-evaluated. It is unclear how much time can be expected to run out. Hand fractures encompass a wide variety of injuries. Depending on where exactly the fracture occurred, his absence could be short or prolonged.
