Knicks’ Donte DiVincenzo Gets 100% Real About Similarities Between Stephen Curry and Giannis Antetokounmpo

When it comes to playing styles, the superstars aren’t much different from Curry and Antetokounmpo. In terms of their daily approach to their craft, however, there are many similarities between the players of the Golden State Warriors franchise and the Milwaukee Bucks: just ask New York Knicks guard Donte DiVincenzo.

“Steph and Giannis obviously have a lot of differences in the way they play, but the similarity is in the way they approach every single day and the way they want to be the best in the NBA and the way they want to be the best person on your team ” DiVincenzo said on The Roommates podcast, hosted by Playmaker HQ. “The gap between him [Steph] and the next guy in terms of pure work is crazy and I was only there for not even 12 months. Giannis, I spent four years with him and every single day that he was in the gym, even the days when you have blackouts, days when no one can come into the gym, he’s still there, so I think you know it’s to their credit how much time and effort they put into it and playing with them is really fun. It’s like one of those things you can tell your kids after the whole basketball thing is over.”
