Knicks chief strategist front office executive on the rise

New York Knicks vice president of basketball and strategic planning Brock Aller had been identified as part of the next wave of front office executives on the rise, according to a Yahoo Sports survey of league staff.

“Knicks vice president Brock Aller has been mentioned frequently by NBA figures for his key role as New York quarterback under President Leon Rose,” wrote Yahoo Sports NBA insider Jake Fischer. “Aller joined the Knicks after growing up in the front office in Cleveland, and Detroit before that.”

Aller was Knicks president Leon Rose’s first hire when he moved to the front office from his former job as an NBA powerhouse agent three years ago.

Entering his fourth season with the Knicks, Aller is a prime candidate to be targeted by other teams looking for their next front-office leader, especially if Rose empowers his latest hire, the former Minnesota president Timberwolves Gersson Rosas.
