Knicks and Lakers are Damian Lillard’s best choices

Damian Lillard is one of the best point guards in the NBA. Unfortunately, Dame and the Blazers have not been able to secure an NBA championship in the seven years since its franchise arrival in 2012.

This fact has led some to believe that he may be ready to move on to the team and, in a recent report by Marc Berman from the New York Post, the Knicks and Lakers are at the forefront if he decides he wants to.

The Lakers make a lot of sense as a location for Dame. Although it is difficult to see a scenario in which I am able to trade for him, they are a team that is very attractive to free agents, thanks to the large Los Angeles market and the arrival of LeBron James.

The Knicks wouldn’t make much sense to Lillard, especially if his goal is to win.

It’s also worth noting that Lillard has expressed nothing to suggest that he would like to quit the franchise – and Blazers have also shown no interest in negotiating it.

However, one never knows with these things and the situation could change in a few years. Without a doubt, a move to New York or Los Angeles would send shock waves across the community.
