Kendrick Perkins, the former NBA champion turned ESPN analyst, has thrown the New York Knicks into the ring of championship contenders after the recent trade deadline frenzy.
During a recent episode of NBA Today, Perkins listed his top five NBA title contenders.
“In no particular order, I have the Denver Nuggets, Clippers, Celtics, Knicks and Suns in my top 5 contenders. This is who I am, now, no matter what, okay? I feel like the Knicks will weather the storm. When they’re healthy, they’ll be a storm and run 10-15 games in a row”.
